About Us
We're a Nashville, TN-based organization providing music business-related
services to established and aspiring industry professionals and consumers.
Specifically, we provide:
Recording services, through Azalea
Productions
and our independent music producer, Fett.
Music business-related education through our
courses, consulting, critiques
and various products.
Artist promotion and record label services for
contemporary folk/rock, singer-songwriter Nancy
Moran.
Our Philosophy
We believe that success in the music business comes through the open sharing of
ideas, information, encouragement and good will toward one another. This is the
primary motivation for the existence of our organization.
Our Mission
Our organization has two main goals:

To provide honest, quality products and services to the music
community; and |

To share our knowledge gained and lessons learned with others in the music
industry, with the aim of helping them avoid unnecessary pitfalls along the
way. |

A Brief History
Nancy Moran and Fett began working together professionally in the Washington, DC
area in 1987. In 1991, they created the Azalea Music Group to promote Nancy's
recording and performing career with the Azalea Records label, and Fett's
engineering and producing career with Azalea Studios.
As a result of the growth of their respective careers, they relocated to
Nashville, TN in 1993. Since then, the Azalea Music Group has continued to
expand, adding workshops, consulting
and critiques to its roster of services in 1996.
Who We Are Not
No organization can do everything. While we are involved in many music
business areas, there are some services we do NOT provide. Specifically, WE
ARE NOT:

looking for new acts to sign to our record label; |

looking for new songs or writers for our publishing company;
|
|
a booking agency looking for new acts; |
|
a management company looking for new acts; |
|
an association or membership organization. |
